NCAA Division One

Division 1 is the highest level of competition sanctioned by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. D-I schools include major collegiate athletic powers, with larger budgets, more elaborate facilities and more athletic scholarships as well as many smaller schools committed to the highest level of competition.

NCAA Division Two

Division II is an intermediate-level division of competition in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). It offers an alternative to both the larger and better-funded Division 1 and to the scholarship-free environment offered in Division III.

NCAA Division Three

Division III is a division of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the United States. D-III consists of athletic programs at colleges and universities that choose not to offer athletic scholarships to their student-athletes.
